SCHOOL, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the well-being of youth and their teachers. Founded by Kelly Wood, our SCHOOL Yoga & Mindfulness Program helps teachers create focused, harmonious classrooms through secular yoga mindfulness practices adapted specifically for public schools. Since 2002, SCHOOL, Inc. has pioneered the integration of yoga mindfulness methods in Title 1 schools, providing underserved youth with tools to succeed, both in academics and in life.
Over 1,000 public school teachers have trained with us in Los Angeles Unified School District, Pasadena Unified School District, New York City Department of Education and other school districts across the country. Our program has served over 24,000 youth in the past six years. Our curriculum meets Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts as well as Health and Physical Education State Standards.
