And I said, well, I am getting two.

I'm taking two today.

They are both for me.

I will have one later that day and

I will have the second one maybe tomorrow.

So I was feeling so great.
[2:11]
Two chocolate covered marshmallows.
[2:15]
I paid for them, of course.
[2:17]
I walked outside of the store and I
[2:20]
looked over.
[2:21]
There is a man at a table.
[2:24]
He works there.
[2:25]
I know him.
[2:27]
He gets nice, wonderful food for people who
[2:30]
are hungry.
[2:32]
And when I see this man outside the
[2:35]
store, I always smile and he does the
[2:38]
same.
[2:40]
Well, there he was.
[2:46]
And then I just paused for a moment.
[2:49]
Remember, pause means we stop carefully, we think
[2:56]
carefully.
[2:58]
And I was thinking, should I give the
[3:05]
man one of my chocolate covered marshmallows?
[3:08]
And then I thought, no.
[3:11]
Oh, no.
[3:13]
Both of these are for me.
[3:16]
And then I was thinking, but it would
[3:19]
be nice to just give the man one
[3:22]
of the chocolate covered marshmallows.
[3:24]
And then I thought, no, Miss Kelly, he
[3:26]
is not even asking for one.
[3:29]
Everybody, my brain was jumping around all over
[3:32]
the place.
[3:33]
Jumpy thoughts.
[3:35]
Give him one, not give him one.

Oh, I said, oh, hold on.

This is not the way to make a

good choice with a jumpy thoughts, jumpy brain.

I know what I need to do to

So as I was standing there, everybody, I

took a calm breath in and a calm
[4:03]
breath out.

Oh, I took another one, calm breath in

and calm breath out with my calm heart,

calm hearts for myself, calm hearts for the

man, everyone.

And then I knew what to do.

I walked over to the man and I

said, sir, would you like one of these

chocolate covered marshmallows?

Everybody, he said, yes.

And he smiled so big.

And I smiled so big, too.

We both felt great.
