Everybody, I went to the store and I

saw that they had one of my most

[1:29]

favourite things.

[1:31]

Oh my goodness.

[1:33]

They had chocolate covered marshmallows.

[1:40]

Yes, I love chocolate covered marshmallows.

[1:45]

And I said, well, I am getting two.

[1:53]

I'm taking two today.

[1:57]

They are both for me.

[1:59]

I will have one later that day and

[2:03]

I will have the second one maybe tomorrow.

[2:08]

So I was feeling so great.

[2:11]

Two chocolate covered marshmallows.

[2:15]

I paid for them, of course.

[2:17]

I walked outside of the store and I

[2:20]

looked over.

[2:21]

There is a man at a table.

[2:24]

He works there.

[2:25]

I know him.

[2:27]

He gets nice, wonderful food for people who

[2:30]

are hungry.

[2:32]

And when I see this man outside the

[2:35]

store, I always smile and he does the

[2:38]

same.

[2:40]

Well, there he was.

[2:46]

And then I just paused for a moment.

[2:49]

Remember, pause means we stop carefully, we think

[2:56]

carefully.

[2:58]

And I was thinking, should I give the

[3:05]

man one of my chocolate covered marshmallows?

[3:08]

And then I thought, no.

[3:11]

Oh, no.

[3:13]

Both of these are for me.

[3:16]

And then I was thinking, but it would

[3:19]

be nice to just give the man one

[3:22]

of the chocolate covered marshmallows.

[3:24]

And then I thought, no, Miss Kelly, he

[3:26]

is not even asking for one.

[3:29]

Everybody, my brain was jumping around all over

[3:32]

the place.

[3:33]

Jumpy thoughts.

[3:35]

Give him one, not give him one.

[3:37]

Oh, I said, oh, hold on.

[3:43]

This is not the way to make a

[3:46]

good choice with a jumpy thoughts, jumpy brain.

[3:49]

Oh, no.

[3:51]

I know what I need to do to

[3:54]

make good choices.

[3:56]

So as I was standing there, everybody, I

[4:00]

took a calm breath in and a calm

[4:03]

breath out.

[4:04]

Oh, I took another one, calm breath in

[4:07]

and calm breath out with my calm heart,

[4:12]

calm hearts for myself, calm hearts for the

[4:14]

man, everyone.

[4:17]

And then I knew what to do.

[4:23]

I walked over to the man and I

[4:27]

said, sir, would you like one of these

[4:30]

chocolate covered marshmallows?

[4:32]

Everybody, he said, yes.

[4:33]

And he smiled so big.

[4:35]

And I smiled so big, too.

[4:38]

We both felt great.

[4:40]

So please sit nice and tall.

[4:43]

Let's have our hands and calm hearts.

When we give just to be nice, when

[4:53]

we give with our calm breathing, calm hearts,

[4:58]

it means we are being generous.

Can we say generous?

Oh, generous is a very wonderful way to

be.

So if we practise our calm breathing, calm

hearts, we can be generous today, especially in
