75-hour course on Canvas

Open to K-12 teachers, counselors, and social workers in all districts

LAUSD teachers earn two salary points

Self-paced learning that includes online interaction with fellow teachers and founder of SCHOOL Yoga & Mindfulness, Kelly Wood

Course fee is $145 for teachers (the remaining 90% of the course fee is covered by grants awarded to Smiling Calm Hearts Open Our Learning, Inc. (SCHOOL, Inc.)
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES

SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL LEARNING FOR SCHOOL AND LIFE
Written by Kelly Wood, this book inspires K-12 educators to rejuvenate and reinforce peaceful habits within themselves through SCHOOL Yoga & Mindfulness methods and share these practices with their students. By doing so, they can significantly influence classroom learning and culture. Furthermore, Calm Breathing Calm Hearts details why and how to develop social and emotional learning skills for prosocial changes in our schools, homes, and communities.
