WHY ARE CALM HEARTS NEEDED NOW MORE THAN EVER?
The COVID-19 pandemic has produced major challenges for teachers, students, and our education system as a whole. As we return to in-person learning after a year of online instruction, social and emotional learning is more important than ever. Educators need practical tools to help youth adapt to ongoing change and fortify a sense of community in classrooms. Teachers need these same tools for themselves.
SCHOOL Yoga & Mindfulness intentionally fosters caring attitudes in youth and their teachers that opens the motivation to learn together. With specific tools for emotional regulation, SCHOOL methods build resilience, confidence, and prosocial habits. By consistently practicing these skills together, teachers and youth co-create classrooms where Calm Hearts guide good choices and care for all.
HOW CAN SCHOOL, INC. HELP?

SCHOOL Kids Yoga is a trauma-informed approach that has proved to be effective at countering trauma experienced by youth and can therefore be applied to meet this historic moment.
