Hi everybody, Miss Kelly here.
[0:49]
Let's practise our school yoga together.
[0:53]
We are sitting in easy pose, sitting up
[0:55]
nice and tall, hands together.
[1:02]
I have a story.
[1:04]
Thank you for always giving your best listening.
[1:10]
Well, I got a text on my phone
[1:14]
from my neighbour and my neighbour said, Miss
[1:17]
Kelly, can you help me?
[1:22]
I see a little baby snake in my
[1:28]
watering can that I use for the garden.
[1:33]
It's on my back porch.
[1:36]
I'm so nervous.
[1:38]
A little baby snake.
[1:40]
And I was thinking to myself, but I
[1:45]
don't know how to help with a baby
[1:47]
snake.
[1:48]
I might feel a little bit nervous too.
[1:52]
I don't know if I can help.
[1:55]
But then I said to myself, Miss Kelly,
[1:57]
think, think in the best way here.
[2:00]
You know what you need to do to
[2:02]
help you think in the best way.
[2:05]
So I took a calm breath in and
[2:09]
a calm breath out.
[2:11]
And a calm breath in, calm breath out.
[2:16]
I wanted to have calm heart for myself,
[2:20]
calm heart with my neighbour, calm heart with
[2:22]
the baby snake, calm hearts with everyone.
[2:25]
And I thought to myself, Miss Kelly, you
[2:29]
can do it.
[2:31]
Have courage.
[2:34]
So I sent a message, I will help.
[2:38]
I took a long pole so that I
[2:44]
did not have to get close to the
[2:46]
watering can outside.
[2:48]
And I was thinking I would tip the
[2:50]
watering can over with a long pole and
[2:53]
the little baby snake could go back home.
[2:57]
I got to the back porch of my
[3:00]
neighbour's house.
[3:01]
I started to reach the pole over and
[3:05]
this little face popped up out of the
[3:08]
watering can and baby lizard ran away.
[3:15]
So it was a baby lizard in the
[3:17]
watering can.
[3:18]
And everybody felt much better.
[3:21]
Even the baby lizard.
[3:23]
So everybody, please sit tall with me.
[3:26]
Hands into calm hearts.
[3:28]
When we have our calm breathing, calm hearts,
[3:31]
we can have courage.
[3:35]
Everybody say courage.
[3:38]
Let's go like this.
[3:39]
And let's say courage.
[3:43]
Courage, brave.
[3:47]
Focus.
[3:49]
And helping others.
[3:51]
Yeah.
[3:52]
So we do need to have courage to
[3:56]
open our learning.
[3:58]
We're going to be learning so many new
[3:59]
things.
[4:00]
So let's be brave.
[4:01]
Let's be focused.
[4:03]
Let's have our calm breathing, calm hearts and
[4:06]
courage to learn.
[4:08]
Here we go.
[4:10]
We practised again.
[4:13]
We are awake, we are ready.
[4:16]
Hands into our calm hearts, sitting extra tall.
[4:19]
Calm breath in.
[4:21]
And calm breath out.
[4:24]
Calm breath in.
[4:26]
And calm breath out.
[4:29]
And together.
[4:31]
Calm breath in.
[4:33]
Our hearts are calm today.
[4:37]
Our hearts are calm today.
[4:41]
Our hearts are calm today.

[4:47]

[4:49]

[4:49]
Easy pose.
[4:50]
Sitting tall.
[4:51]
Hands on two knees.
[4:53]
Left hand.
[4:55]
Let's make a circle like a flower growing
[4:58]
in the garden.
[5:00]
Calm breath in.
[5:02]
And calm breath out.
[5:04]
We have to water the flowers with our
[5:06]
watering can.
[5:07]
Calm breath in.
[5:10]
And calm breath out.
[5:12]
Maybe it's a yellow flower.
[5:14]
Calm breath in.
[5:16]
Good everybody.
[5:17]
Calm breath out to the centre.
[5:20]
Calm hearts ready.
[5:21]
Calm breath in.
[5:23]

[5:25]
Easy pose.
[5:26]
Sitting tall.
[5:27]
Hands on two knees.
[5:28]
Right hand.
[5:30]
Let's make a circle like a watermelon that
[5:33]
grows in the garden.
[5:34]
That's healthy.
[5:36]
Let's go together.
[5:37]
Calm breath in.
[5:39]
Top of the watermelon.
[5:41]
Calm breath out at the bottom.
[5:44]
One more.
[5:45]
Calm breath in.
[5:48]
And calm breath out.
[5:50]
I saw lots of careful circles.
[5:52]
Calm hearts.
[5:53]
Calm breath in.
[5:55]
And calm breath out.
[5:57]
Easy pose.
[5:58]
Hands on two knees.
[5:59]
Sitting tall.
[6:00]
A circle with our head like a baby
[6:03]
lizard's eyes.
[6:04]
We want to be kind to the baby
[6:06]
lizards.
[6:07]
Yes we do.
[6:08]
Calm breath in.
[6:09]
And calm breath out.
[6:12]
Good everybody.
[6:13]
Opposite way.
[6:15]
Are you making an extra tiny circle?
[6:18]
Oh it's even smaller for our calm brain.
[6:23]
Good everybody.
[6:24]
To the centre.
[6:26]
Calm breath in.
[6:27]
And calm breath out.
[6:30]
Easy pose.
[6:31]
Sitting tall.
[6:31]
Hands on two knees.
[6:33]
Shoulder circles.
[6:35]
Yes.
[6:36]
Calm bodies.
[6:38]
Have courage.
[6:39]
And circle to the front.
[6:42]
Calm breath in.
[6:44]
And calm breath out.
[6:47]
Excellent.
[6:48]
Please sit nice and tall.
[6:49]
We lift our calm hearts full of courage.
[6:55]
Calm breath in.
[6:57]
And calm breath out.
[7:00]
Good everybody.
[7:01]
Easy pose.
[7:03]
And sitting tall.
[7:04]
Hands on two knees.
[7:05]
In our mixing bowl today.
[7:08]
Show me mixing carefully.
[7:11]
Slowly.
[7:13]
Think about vegetables in the garden.
[7:18]
It could be fruits too.
[7:19]
Fruits and vegetables in the garden.
[7:22]
I'll put in the first thing.
[7:25]
Plums.
[7:27]
Raise hand.
[7:28]
Teacher will call on someone.
[7:30]
Healthy.
[7:31]
In the garden.
[7:35]
Good.
[7:36]
Opposite way.
[7:38]
More healthy food growing in the garden.
[7:41]
How about raspberries?
[7:44]
Another healthy food.
[7:45]
Teacher will call on someone.
[7:51]
Good everybody.
[7:52]
To the centre.
[7:55]
Calm breath in.
[7:57]
And calm breath out.
[7:59]
Very nice.
[8:00]
Easy pose.
[8:01]
Sitting tall.
[8:01]
Hands together.
[8:03]
We are going to do warrior pose.
[8:06]
Now what are warriors like?
[8:08]
They are brave.
[8:11]
They are focused.
[8:14]
Do they have courage?
[8:16]
Oh yes, they have courage.
[8:19]
We are not fighting warriors.
[8:21]
No, that's not what we do.
[8:23]
We help.
[8:26]
That's smart.
[8:28]
We are helping warriors with courage.
[8:31]
Okay, so let's imagine we all have on
[8:35]
our warrior suits.
[8:37]
It's the same colour.
[8:38]
What colour are our warrior suits?
[8:41]
Someone please raise hand.
[8:43]
Teacher will call on someone.
[8:44]
Colour of our suits.
[8:50]
Okay, what colour are our warrior calm hearts?
[8:55]
How about light blue?
[8:59]
And of course we are going to be
[9:00]
helping.
[9:02]
Let's help some animals.
[9:03]
How about we help all lizards and baby
[9:07]
snakes?
[9:08]
Okay.
[9:09]
They all have calm hearts, you know.
[9:12]
So everybody, when we are in warrior pose,
[9:16]
we are going to say calm hearts have
[9:21]
courage.
[9:24]
Here we go.
[9:25]
Let's stand.
[9:29]
Okay, warrior pose.
[9:33]
Step one.
[9:35]
Feet go out.
[9:36]
Not too far.
[9:38]
Calm feet.
[9:40]
Calm breath in.
[9:42]
And calm breath out.
[9:45]
Helping warriors.
[9:47]
Step two.
[9:48]
Bend our left knee to the side.
[9:52]
Calm breath in.
[9:54]
And calm breath out.
[9:56]
Good, everybody.
[9:58]
Step three.
[9:59]
Arms go out.
[10:01]
Watch me.
[10:03]
We are going to move and say calm
[10:08]
hearts have courage.
[10:14]
Here we go.
[10:15]
Calm hearts have courage.
[10:22]
One more.
[10:23]
Calm hearts have courage.
[10:31]
Good.
[10:31]
Both legs are straight.
[10:34]
Calm hearts.
[10:35]
Calm breath in.
[10:37]
Calm breath out.
[10:41]
And we do the other side.
[10:43]
Wonderful warriors who help.
[10:47]
Who have courage.
[10:48]
Step one.
[10:50]
Feet are out.
[10:52]
Not too far.
[10:54]
Calm breath in.
[10:55]
And calm breath out.
[10:59]
Step two.
[11:00]
Bend our right knee.
[11:03]
Calm breath in.
[11:05]
And calm breath out.
[11:07]
Step three.
[11:09]
Arms go out.
[11:14]
Calm hearts have courage.
[11:21]
Calm hearts have courage.
[11:29]
Calm hearts have courage.
[11:35]
Good, everybody.
[11:37]
To centre.
[11:39]
Calm hearts are ready.
[11:40]
Calm breath in.
[11:42]
Calm breath out.
[11:46]
And hands and arms are down.
[11:49]
Feet are closer.
[11:53]
Have a seat.
[11:54]
Easy pose.
[12:03]
Very good.
[12:06]
And so we will practise our school meditation
[12:09]
every day.
[12:11]
And when we have our calm brains, right,
[12:14]
everybody, we make good choices.
[12:17]
Like having courage to help others.
[12:21]
And we do our school meditation.
[12:26]
So we have our calm hearts.
[12:28]
So we have courage to help others.
[12:32]
Yes.
[12:34]
And you know, with courage, with calm brains,
[12:38]
calm hearts, lots of learning.
[12:43]
So we sit nice and tall.
[12:45]
Eyes stay open, of course.
[12:46]
And we're going to spell calm while we're
[12:51]
remembering our beautiful, shining, calm hearts.
[12:56]
C-A-L-M.
[13:03]
C-A-L-M.
[13:10]
C-A-L-M.
[13:15]
C-A-L-M.
[13:27]
C-A-L-M.
[13:32]
Sit taller.
[13:34]
C-A-L-M.
[13:40]
C-A-L-M.
[13:45]
Remember calm hearts.
[13:47]
C-A-L-M.
[13:52]
One more.
[13:53]
C-A-L-M.
[13:59]
Excellent, everyone.
[14:01]
Calm hearts are ready.
[14:02]
Calm breath in and calm breath out.
[14:07]
Very good.
[14:08]
Hands are down.
[14:10]
Remembering my story.
[14:14]
What did my neighbour think was in the
[14:20]
watering can?
[14:25]
A baby snake.
[14:27]
Oh, I've never helped a baby snake before,
[14:30]
and I was feeling a little bit nervous,
[14:32]
too.
[14:34]
But I used my calm breath in, calm
[14:39]
breath out, calm hearts to have, what's our
[14:44]
word, to have courage and see if I
[14:50]
could help.
[14:54]
And not even having to tip over the
[14:57]
watering can, what little wonderful fella jumped out
[15:01]
of the watering can and ran away?
[15:03]
A baby lizard.
[15:07]
Okay, so everybody, let's sit nice and tall.
[15:10]
Hands are to calm hearts.
[15:13]
Lift our calm hearts if we're going to
[15:14]
have courage today and learn new things.
[15:18]
Now we can do it.
[15:20]
Lift our calm hearts if we're going to
[15:22]
have courage today and help others.
[15:27]
Yes, we can.
[15:29]
All right, that's how we are learning best,
[15:31]
with courage, with calm breathing, calm hearts.
[15:35]
Let's end our class.
[15:37]
Calm breath in, calm breath out, and calm
[15:43]
breath in.
[15:44]
Smiling, calm hearts.
[15:48]
Thank you, everybody.
[15:51]
We love practising calm breathing, calm hearts every
[15:56]
day.
[15:58]
Smiling Calm Hearts Open Our Learning.
[16:05]
See you soon!

Hi everybody, Ms. Kelly here.
[0:50]
Let's practise our school yoga together.
[0:53]
Sit in easy pose, sit nice and tall,
[0:58]
hands together.
[1:00]
Holding hands like this helps us to focus.
[1:06]
So, we know that if we have our
[1:09]
calm breathing, calm hearts, we can do many
[1:12]
good things like have courage.
[1:18]
Everybody, let's say courage.
[1:24]
Sometimes, we feel a little bit nervous to
[1:28]
try something new or to learn something new.
[1:31]
Yes, everybody sometimes feels a little bit nervous.
[1:37]
That is a good time when we're just
[1:40]
a little bit nervous to say, oh, but
[1:44]
I know what can help me here.
[1:47]
My calm breathing, my calm hearts.
[1:53]
Well, we practise it so that we can
[1:56]
use it if we're feeling a little bit
[1:58]
nervous.
[2:02]
And then we're going to feel better, make
[2:07]
better choices with our courage, with our calm
[2:12]
breathing, calm hearts.
[2:18]
So, let's practise so that we are going
[2:22]
to be ready to have courage.
[2:25]
Here we go.
[2:28]
And sitting extra tall, we're going to sing
[2:31]
our hearts are calm today.
[2:34]
Hands into calm hearts, thank you.
[2:37]
And you know, sitting up nice and tall
[2:39]
helps us to feel brave, have courage when
[2:43]
we're sitting tall.
[2:46]
Calm breath in and calm breath out.
[2:50]
Calm breath in and calm breath out.
[2:55]
Good and calm breath in.
[2:59]
Our hearts are calm today.
[3:03]
Our hearts are calm today.
[3:07]
Our hearts are calm today.
[3:11]
Good, everyone.
[3:12]
Calm breath in and calm breath out.
[3:16]
Excellent.
[3:18]
Hands are down, focused and ready.
[3:21]
We're going to move our arms and hands,
[3:23]
make a pattern, say our nice words together.
[3:27]
Full of focus, full of peaceful feelings in
[3:33]
our classroom for learning.
[3:36]
Okay, we're going to do and say this.
[3:42]
Calm, hearts, have courage.
[3:52]
Let's say it again.
[3:58]
Hearts, have courage.
[4:04]
And again.
[4:06]
Calm, hearts, have courage.
[4:14]
Good, everybody.
[4:15]
Let's do another pattern.
[4:18]
We'll say the same, just move our arms
[4:22]
and hands differently.
[4:23]
Ready?
[4:24]
Calm, hearts, have courage.
[4:32]
Calm, hearts, have courage.
[4:39]
One more.
[4:41]
Calm, hearts, have courage.
[4:47]
Good, and hands into calm, hearts.
[4:50]
Let's practise our calm breathing.
[4:52]
Calm, hearts.
[4:53]
Calm breath in.
[4:55]
Calm breath out.
[4:57]
We are focused.
[4:59]
We are brave.
[5:01]
Calm breath in and calm breath out.
[5:07]
We are also peaceful, yes.
[5:10]
Calm breath in and calm breath out.
[5:16]
We have courage to learn.
[5:20]
Calm breath in and calm breath out.
[5:25]
We have courage to help others.
[5:29]
Calm breath in and calm breath out.
[5:34]
Not nervous, steady, brave, and strong.
[5:39]
Calm breath in and calm breath out.
[5:44]
Good, everybody.
[5:46]
Hands are down.
[5:48]
So remember, if we feel a little bit
[5:52]
nervous, and we all do from time to
[5:57]
time, we can use our calm breath in,
[6:02]
calm breath out with our calm hearts, and
[6:07]
we can do it.
[6:10]
We can have courage.
[6:12]
We can help others.
[6:15]
We have our best learning, our best learning,
[6:22]
yes.
[6:25]
Thank you, everybody.
[6:27]
Let's end our class.
[6:29]
Calm breath in.
[6:31]
Calm breath out.
[6:33]
Calm breath in.
[6:36]
Smiling, calm, hearts.
[6:40]
Thank you, everybody.
[6:43]
Thank you for practising your calm breathing, calm
[6:46]
hearts, yes.
